Winter '11 - Egypt Day 1 - Helloooo Egypt~

Domodedovo Airport, Moscow...

hey guys... i just got back from egypt last week... yeah... i know... its not a safe place to have a vacation... but, Alhamdulillah im now still in one piece... anyway, ill write down what i experienced there... it was 8 days 7 nights vacation... n ill try to post an entry for each day... so, lets begin on the 1st day that is the day before departure...

so, actually we planned to go there on 26th of january... but suddenly theres a riot, so we hv to postponed our flight to 30th... i already paid around 300 usd @ RM1000 @ 10 000rb.... the package include flight return ticket, transport from airport in hurghada to my hotel, 3 star hotel for 8 days n 7 nights, breakfast n dinner... thats the cheapest that we can find...

at first we r planning to use Aliff Baa Taa Agency... this agency actually a malaysian agency in egypt... one of the its member was a student in my university... but now he's studying in egypt.... but, when we reached hurghada, we cant make contact to that agency... so, we hv to find our own local agent... i know that many people was worried badly about my safety... im so sorry to make u felt that way... but my feeling strongly believe that nothing will happen... n Alhamdulillah sumer nyer baek2 belaka... =)

after get down from the plane, we have to take bus to the airport...

so, we took Ural Airline... about 4 hour n half from moscow to hurghada... when reached there felt so relieved... we went to our hotel n then head to the town to see the hurghada... i love that place... it hv been quite a while i didnt see nice people... smiling... with nice weather that is around 20 degree celcius... plus a bit windy... its perferct... no riot... it was a peaceful place... mostly tourist in that place from russia n germany... i stayed in Pharaoh Hotel Club or Santa Marea Hotel... below r some of the pics i managed to snap for the 1st day me in hurghada... i think the pics will explain the rest... =)

our agent who arranged for us everything but we dont use them for tour around egypt cos they charged really expensive... thtas y we look for local agent...

so, around 8 pm we head back to our hotel by taxi... taxi from my hotel to town around 10-15 LE (egyption pound or rm5-rm7 or 50rb- 70rb)... distance around 7 minutes journey... since we have open buffet in our hotel, i didnt eat my mcarabia first... hehehe... save it for late supper... so, we went to the tempat makan n start to dig in the food... below r the pics of the food... ^_^

they hv a wide variety of buns... but only took 3... =p

dessert... jelly + cakes + cookies + dates n not sure what is that orange jelly thingy....

also have sup n vegies as a side dish....

after full, we just resting for a while near the swimming pool... it was cold night cos its very windy... plus the tempt decrease during night time...

then watched tv n feel want to eat some more... hehehe... yeah i know i eat a lot... so what??? biar lah sy gemok pon... asalkan ade org syg... hek2... =p

ermmm... i think thats all for my 1st day... nothing much... because what we planned from the beginning all went to the drain... so, we hv to plan a new activites since we dont hv back up plan that time... ill continue later... daaa~
